Spicy Potato Vegetable Recipe, How to make Masaledaar Aloo, Spicy Potato Image

Spicy Potato - Masaledaar Aloo Recipe
 
 
Ingredients
  • Potatoes - 4
  • Turmeric - ¼ teaspoon
  • Asafoetida - 1 pinch
  • Carom seeds - ¼ teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - ½ teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste

Instructions
  1. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into pieces.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
  3. Fry cumin seeds and carom seeds in hot oil and add chopped potatoes.
  4. Stir the potatoes for 1 to 2 minutes on high heat.
  5. Lower down the flame and add all the spices and salt as per the taste and mix well.
  6. Cover the pan and cook potatoes for 7 to 8 minutes . (Keep stirring in between)
  7. Turn off the gas when the potatoes turn soft.
  8. Serve delicious spiced potatoes with roti.
