Last Navratra I have been trying a lot of Recipes. This Sabudana Fruit cocktail is one of those inventions. You can use canned fruits but i use fresh fruits instead. It is made with staking the ingredients on over over. You can even add a layer of orange pulp to sour hint to fruit salad.
The taste of Sabudana fruit cocktail salad recipe becomes comlete with a thick layer of rabri which i prepared at home previous day.
As I have a sweet tooth so I have used apple and pear. Few other suggestions are mango, banana, pineapple etc.

Sabudana Fruit Cocktail Recipe Card:
- Sabudaba (sago) – 1 cup
- Rabri – 1 cup
- Apple – 1
- Pear / avocado – 1
- Pomegranate – 1
- Dry fruits / Nuts – 1 tbsp
- Rose syrup – 8 tsp
- To make sabudana (sago) fruit cocktail, boil sago till soft and set aside.
- Prepare rabri by boiling milk or you can easily get ready made from market
- Finely chop apple, pear / avocado or any other fruit of your choice. Try to include only sweet fruits.
- De-seed pomegranate.
- Also finely chop dry fruits of your choice. Like i have used almond and cashew nuts only.
- Take a glass in which you are going to serve yummy fruit cocktail.
- Start with 2 tsp rose syrup.
- Continue with adding chopped avocade, then apple and lastly add pomegranate seeds.
- Add a layer of soft and tender sago. Again add 2 tsp rose syrup over sago.
- Top it up with a thick layer of rabri and finally garnish with chopped nuts and dew pomegranate.
- Tempting Sabudana Fruit cocktail is ready. Enjoy the pleasure of divine and heavenly taste of it.
