Very easy to make, paneer burji is a very appetizing dish. It is made with paneer cooked in mixture of chopped onion, tomatoes and spices.

- Paneer/cottage cheese - 150 to 200 gram
- Onion - 3, small sized
- Tomato - 2, small sized
- Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala - ½ tsp
- Cooking oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- To start with making paneer burji sabzi, chop onions and tomatoes.
- Finely grate paneer - Indian Cottage cheese.
- In a pan, heat oil.
- Add chopped onions to the pan. Stir fry till onion become soft and translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes. Mix well.
- When tomatoes become soft and mushy, add red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Mix.
- Take the earlier grated paneer, add to the pan and mix well.
- Sprinkle salt. Stir
- Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on medium flame. Do not cover the pan as it will make paneer bhurji moist.
- Transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and garam masala.
- Serve hot with chapati.
