Everybody loves cake and cake when ready to eat within minutes is like a dream. This is a basic cup cake recipe. Also, surprise your kids with molten chocolate hidden right in the middle of muffin. 🙂
You can add variations of toppings to the muffin. As here I have sprinkled icing sugar and chopped nuts to make it more presentable.
- All purpose flour / maida - 1 tbsp
- Cocoa powder - 2 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Baking powder - ⅛ tsp
- Milk - 4 tbsp
- Cooking oil - 1 tsp
- In a mixing pan, add all the ingredients except milk and mix well.
- Add milk in portions and mix well.
- Preheat microwave at 180 degree C.
- Pour the batter in cake cup or mug.
- Microwave for a minute. Do not overcook.
- Yummy chocolate muffin is ready to serve.
Eggless Chocolate Muffin – How to make Chocolate Cupcake Recipe:
Step by step recipe of Chocolate cupcake:
1. Ok, let’s start with making basic chocolate muffin. Take a bowl, add all the ingredients and half milk and mix well.

2. Add remaining milk and mix well. Break all the lumps formed.

3. The batter will be very runny.

4. Preheat microwave at 180 degree C. Grease silicone cupcake mould with oil. Muffin cups are easily available in market or you can find them online.

5. Pour the batter in cake cup or mug upto ½ level as batter will rise.
6. Add a tsp of molten chocolate in the middle og the batter before baking. This step is optional.

7. Microwave batter for a minute. Do not overcook.
8. The cake will come out like this.

9. Enjoy with your favorite topping or just sprinkle icing sugar and chopped nuts.
